Having entered the NTI 2.0 foresight team, the Polytech director Ivan Gubin and the deputy director of InChemEk, Dmitry Zubov, contributed to the creation of a roadmap for one of the most important markets of the future

As a reminder, the foresight of the National Technology Initiative 2.0 has recently finished. The event was organized by the NTI Platform, the University 20.35, the Russian Venture Company, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives; it was held online.

Among the key areas of the NTI 2.0 foresight was the TechNet market, a working group of which was made up of technology entrepreneurs, scientists, representatives of development institutions and executive authorities from different parts of Russia.

The TechNet development team also includes representatives from Vyatka State University.

  -  We had to predict and plan the future of high-tech industries, - commented Dmitry Zubov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemistry and Ecology, speaking at the foresight as an expert analyst. -  During the foresight sessions, the TechNet working group formulated a market hypothesis, carried out its segmentation, identified trends, groundwork and, based on the above, promising directions.

A significant part of the community's work was associated with updating the TechNet roadmap, proposed by a group led by Alexey Borovkov, a prominent Russian scientist in the field of computational mechanics and computer engineering, the leader of a federal megaproject to create factories of the future in Russia, supported by the ASI expert council. As part of the foresight, the roadmap was supplemented with new products and adjusted to take into account other NTI markets.

Ivan Gubin, director of the Polytechnic Institute of VyatSU, shared his impression of working in the TechNet team:

  -  Participation in the foresight allows you to look at the industries in which the TechNet market positions itself more broadly - through the eyes of not only the closest circle, but also experts from all over the country. This allows us to understand those trends that may elude us in our current activities, and make the necessary adjustments to our work, including training specialists, defining research topics, and strategic partnerships.
