University admission online becomes a reality! This was announced by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, speaking at the Open Innovations forum in Skolkovo:
We are working to make it possible to enter Russian universities through the Internet. More than fifty higher education institutions have been selected for this project.
Already in 2020, testing of the service "Admission to the university online" will begin. It will reduce the time and transport costs of applicants, will provide an opportunity in a single rating to monitor the competitive situation and receive comprehensive information on the passing points of the last school year. It is important that the super service is created not instead of the existing methods of submitting documents, but along with them so that any applicant can choose the most suitable option for themselves.
52 Russian universities were selected for participation in the project, including Vyatka State University. By 2024, at least 30 higher educational institutions will join the project.
The Executive Secretary of the admission committee of Vyatka State University Roman Medov commented:
For the last 5 years, Vyatka State University has provided applicants with the opportunity to submit documents in electronic form through the applicant’s Personal Account on the Vyatka State University official website. The introduction at the national level of the super service “Admission to the university online” will provide applicants with another way to enter Vyatka State University. In order to take advantage of the capabilities of a super service, you will need to register on the Unified Portal of State Services of the Russian Federation (www.gosuslugi.ru). The main advantage of the super service is the ability to submit from your personal account on the government services portal several applications for admission to the participating universities of the project
