November 17, at the initiative of the management of the branch of the Moscow State University "M.V. Lomonosov" in the city of Dushanbe, with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan represented by Burulko I.E. - the first secretary of the Embassy, ​​representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Vyatka State University, Ph.D., Associate Professor Sergei Fomin.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for mutual cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere. At the end of the meeting, an open lecture on the topic "On polymers and polymer technology" was held, which was listened to with interest by teachers and students of the "Chemistry, Physics and Mechanics of Materials" branch, as well as from the Tajik National University and the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi.

During the lecture, Fomin S.V. spoke about the properties of fluoroplastic 4 (PTFE), its copolymers and the prospects for their use in mechanical engineering, chemical and aviation and rocket and space industries, and at the end of the lecture he answered numerous questions from teachers and students. Events of this format are very important for future specialists.
