VyatSU will take part in the development of a network educational program for industrial ecology, as part of the consortium "Advanced Ecotechnology"

The participants in the consortium "Advanced Ecotechnologies" will develop a network educational program for industrial ecology, aimed at training personnel to implement the tasks of the national project "Ecology". This decision was made on Thursday at the International Forum "Clean Country" in Moscow.

According to the director for the implementation of state and sectoral programs in the field of ecology, Rosatom State Corporation, Andrei Lebedev, questions related to environmental and concern for the environment are gradually beginning to enter the agenda of most states of the world. The implementation of large-scale projects, including the creation of a single system for handling of waste industrial enterprises and the elimination of objects of accumulated environmental damage, is impossible without modern technologies and professional personnel.

"We must show what prospects opens the profession of industrial ecologist. I can confidently say that the future for the professions that are needed to implement environmental projects, "said Andrei Lebedev. Among the demanded professions are specialty as an industrial ecologist, an engineer, a chemist, an IT specialist for data analysis. Supporting such personnel is possible only with the assistance of the country's leading universities.

The development of the new industry always requires professional personnel, technologies and developed infrastructure, - I am sure the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education Alexander Mushag, - I would like to allocate an example of the work of the Consortium "Advanced Ecotechnology", whose projects are aimed not only for the preparation of highly professional specialists, but also the development of new technological solutions.

One of the priorities is the reasonable processing of each gram of industrial waste into secondary raw materials.

"Future specialists employed in this area must have knowledge in the chemical industry and related industries, ecological and economic analysis skills", - Ilya Vorotntsev, acting rector of the Russian Chemical Technology University "D.I. Mendeleev", - "The profession of industrial ecologist guarantees demand to the specialist. Our task is to create a personnel reserve of professionals who can solve non-standard tasks in ecology, build the future of our country and contribute to its development."

Representatives of the partner universities in the consortium "Advanced Ecotechnologies" are ready to engage in the creation of a network educational program. Professor of Vyatka State University Tamara Ashinhmina spoke about various approaches and methods for the preparation of promising specialties in the field of industrial ecology. Professor of Saratov State Technical University "Yu. A. Gagarin", Elena Tikhomirova, spoke about digital technologies in ecology.

Advisor to the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Aton Titsky noted the importance of attracting young people to the problems of ecology.

"From year to year, the number of guys, which are interested in working on the preservation of national environmental wealth and waste processing tasks, is growing" - A.Titsky said.

The Federal Scientific Educational Consortium "Advanced Ecotechnologies" was created on the initiative of Rosatom State Corporation to determine the priority areas of scientific and technological development in the field of environmental protection, the development and implementation of comprehensive scientific and technical programs related to environmental safety issues in disposal and processing industrial waste; Preparation and retraining of personnel.

The consortium includes Russian Chemical Technology University "D.I. Mendeleev", Vyatka State University, Nizhny Novgorod State University "N.I. Lobachevsky", Saratov State Technical University "Gagarin Yu.A.", Udmurt State University, Udmurt Federal Research Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Kurgan branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Irkutsk National Research Technical University. Also, the consortium includes the all-Russian inter-sectoral association of employers in the field of environmental protection (OOS Rusrecycling) and Rusatom Greenway JSC.
