The International Spring Congress of the University Consortium of Big Data researchers began work at VyatSU

Researchers from leading Russian universities, together with representatives of industrial partners, will discuss the issues of import substitution, ways to solve socially significant problems in the conditions of technological challenges

On May 19, the Vyatka State University launched the International Spring Congress of the University Consortium of Big Data researchers, aimed at expanding cooperation between universities and leading technological companies in order to implement network research and develop digital solutions in the field of data analysis. The event organized by the largest university in the Kirov region, together with the Tomsk State University, the university consortium of big data researchers, united participants from 45 cities of Russia, as well as representatives of the near abroad.

In full -time format and online, researchers from 53 universities, representatives of dozens of industrial partners gathered at the congress site. Within the framework of the rich program, the speeches of 120 speakers were stated, 60 of which came directly to Kirov. This was announced by the vice -rector for development based on the analysis of the data of VyatSU Ekaterina Mityagina.

With a welcoming speech, the President of VyatGU Valery Jungbbish addressed the participants. He emphasized:

    "The theme of the congress is very close and understandable to the Vyatka State University. For us, those key aspects that the university consortium of big data researchers are engaged are extremely important. We, as a university, is a participant and winner of the Priority 2030 program, we understand: everything related to big data is not just a fashionable topic. This is a universal trend that is global. It applies to all spheres of science and education, including the very system of management of higher education. In modern realities, without the use of new methods and techniques, it is impossible to build an effective knowledge economy. We hope that everything that will sound at the Congress will be important, will help us to form a modern, accurate idea of ​​high -quality sources, determine the volumes of these sources for research, in order to get answers to those questions that are most relevant for us."

Renat Lashin, Executive Director of the Association of Developers of Software Products "Fatherland Software" addressed the audience. The representative of the Congress General partner said:
    "Now a very interesting situation has developed, a huge window of opportunities has opened for the Russian IT industry, for all participants in the import substitution process. Colleagues and I note great interest in domestic software products. Our IT companies are involved in large-scale work aimed at satisfying the increased demand for software products, providing all the necessary technical measures, and technical support. If we talk about education, then in the last six months we, together with the university consortium of big data researchers, have carried out significant work to create a catalog of educational programs and initiatives. At the Congress, its results will be presented."

The chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region Roman Beresnev, on behalf of all deputies, wished the participants in the Congress of productive work, noting:

    "It is symbolic that Congress began work on the day of the century of the All-Union Pioneer Organization. You are also pioneers in research activities, engaged in a completely new theme that must be moved and developed."

The participants were also addressed by the rector of the North-East Federal University named after M.K. AMMOSOVA Anatoly Nikolaev, Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Kirov Region Sergey Ulitin. Sergei Nikolaevich, in particular, admitted:

    "We are very waiting for your specific practical-oriented results. They are needed today to make effective and correct decisions.'

This idea was reflected in the speech of Mikhail Burlakov, Deputy General Director of ANO “Tsism”, who noted:

    'Big data is oil of the 21st century. The ability to competently collect and process them, getting good results from this is a separate, large and very complex science."

The start of the main program of the Congress gave a presentation of the network projects of the consortium, conducted by Mikhail soft, chairman of the board of the University Consortium of Big Data Researchers. In addition to it, on the first day of the Congress, a presentation of the programs catalog will be held for the sequence of higher education from domestic companies included in the Association of Developers of Software Products “Domestic Soft”; Meeting of the working group of a project of the National Association of University Estrapy. In addition, there will be panel discussions devoted to infrastructure solutions for organizing hybrid training and monitoring of the labor market, as well as the presentation of the project of university national education quality.

The second day program includes acquaintance with research and applied projects of universities participating in the consortium aimed at solving the strategic problems of the Priority 2030 program. Also, software tools of industrial partners of the consortium will be presented. Within the framework of the Congress, the International Scientific Conference “Big Data and Problems of Society - 2022” will be held. In addition to the business program, visionary lectures will be held from leading international experts in the field of artificial intelligence.
