VyatSU application received the highest expert evaluation and maximum financial support for development The Engineering center, established on the basis of the Vyatka State University with the support of the Government of the Kirov Region and the Kirov Regional Branch of the Russian Union of Machine Builders, won the competition which was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. 55 Russian universities, including Federal, National Research, Flagship universities, and universities the participants of 5-100 project, took part in the competition.
Because of the competitive selection, 12 applications of universities were supported by competitive Commission, consisting of the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, representatives of leading industrial concerns. The application of the Vyatka state University, along with the application of the Ural Federal University named after Boris Yeltsin, received the maximum expert evaluation among all participants.
As a result of the competition, VyatSU Engineering Center will receive the largest financial support for development: 25 million rubles in 2018, 44 million rubles in 2019 and 80 million rubles in 2020. Federal funds will be spent on ensuring the life of the center, the purchase of equipment, staff training, and salaries of employees.
