VyatSU performs successfully at the interuniversity student's Olympiad in simulation modeling

Students of the Institute of Economics and Management Vladislav Shabalin, Dmitry Smirnov and Igor Bryukhov became prizewinners.

On April 27-28 the inter-university student economic contest "Management of the market value of companies in the digital economy" (Moscow) was held on the basis of the computer game "BUSINESS COURSE: Maximum", which was organized by the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation" in cooperation with the Laboratory of Simulation Modeling and Business Games of the Scientific Research Committee Center of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov with the support of OOO "Higher Computer Business Courses" (Moscow), Thomson Reuters Company and Vnesheconombank.

Among 46 teams from the largest national universities there were representatives of the Institute of Economics and Management of Vyatka State University headed by Tatyana Baibakova, associate professor of the Economics Department.

During the game sessions the participants were to show their ability to organize the production process and form sales contracts for their products. They also had to establish interaction with the banking sector and the stock market in order to achieve the maximum market value of their organization.

As a result of quite a tough competition students from Vyatka State University are among the best! The third place in the Major League was taken by Vladislav Shabalin, Dmitry Smirnov and Igor Bryukhov took the 2nd and 3rd places of the First League respectively.
