The competition program consisted of several stages and included testing on first aid and psychological support, as well as solving situational problems and demonstrating practical skills in assisting victims. All the legends for competitive tests were prepared by the Center for Emergency Psychological Services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. This is done in order to create equal conditions for all participants and to bring the competitive tasks as close as possible to the work of a psychologist in real situations.

To create an environment as close as possible to possible circumstances, specially trained statist actors were involved at this stage; they reliably demonstrated signs of reactions and conditions in which assistance is needed. At the third stage, there was a competition between captains of the teams who demonstrated training skills in first aid and psychological support.

At all stages of the competitive tests, the VyatSU team showed a high level of training, eventually taking 2nd place.
