The meeting was held within the VI All-Russian Educational Forum of Working Youth (March 3-7) in Nizhny Tagil, the largest industrial center of our country. It was located in "Uralvagonzavod" – a big research and production corporation.  In particular, one of the spacious workshops was re-equipped for this grandiose event.

The forum gathered about 300 participants from 38 regions of the country - representatives of 102 enterprises and 37 educational institutions. Among them there was Anna Slyudova, postgraduate student of VyatSU Department of Material Science and Basics of Design. She had successfully passed all the tests of competitive selection. As she told, the participants were representatives (students or employees) of 50 most demanded professions on the labor market. Thus, they studied an extensive program within five days: one general program for all, and one of six optional programs.

Project ideas were generated within the "Project Thinking" classes. The participants gained experience of project thinking techniques, learned to distinguish their fantasies from real needs, and developed new original solutions.

Anna Slyudova is sure that she will apply her knowledge to the educational process. Moreover, the implementation of project-oriented education at VyatSU Faculty of Technology, Engineering and Design is rapidly developing.

Anna said:

- Apart from the educational program the forum participants got no idle time, except for having meals, travelling to study and sleeping.

Despite this, we happened to get acquainted with representatives of large technological productions: young professionals working in unique areas, for example, in the white metallurgy industry; we discussed advanced technologies, modern equipment and its industrial implementation.

The most vivid and memorable event occurred on the last forum day. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin came to meet the participants of the event.

The head of state addressed them:

- We have already said many times that our renewing economy, associated with the introduction of new technologies, first of all, requires new engineering personnel.

The Russian leader also noted the importance of mastering several adjacent areas by students and young working people:

 - Today unconditional competitive advantages are got by those who know how to work at the junction combination of knowledge and skills.

Concluding the meeting, Vladimir Putin wished everyone good luck and success, and also thanked the participants of the forum for their active life position.
