The teacher from Kirov was awarded a medal in the nomination "For the results of research, experimental and empirical work that has made a significant contribution to the development of pedagogy"

The Presidium of the Russian Academy of Education, chaired by the President of the Russian Academy of Education, Academician Olga Yuryevna Vasilyeva, decided to award applicants with medals “To Young Scientist for Success in Science”. In total, 7 works were selected for the award.

The winner of the medal in the field of pedagogical sciences in the nomination "For the results of research, experimental and empirical work that has made a significant contribution to the development of pedagogy" was the dean of the faculty of pedagogy and psychology of Vyatka State University, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Vyacheslav Viktorovich Utemov.

The presented work is the result of research conducted by the author in 2008-2020. Their goal was to develop and experimentally confirm the effectiveness of using the methods of scientific creativity in the methodology of teaching school disciplines. The results of the study are presented in 14 publications indexed in the international information and analytical systems of scientific citation Scopus and Web of Science and more than 45 teaching aids.

The results of the study were presented to the expert community as part of a scientific conference of young scientists in the field of educational sciences at the Russian Academy of Education at the end of 2021. Vyacheslav Utemov spoke about the teaching of school disciplines based on the methods of scientific creativity. In the course of the research, he developed a teaching practice that is based on the use of tasks aimed at developing the main characteristics of creativity; principles of searching for solutions to tasks based on approaches used in scientific creativity; methodological support of subject teachers.
